After an accident with the anaesthetic at the dentist, Marcus, a seven year old boy, starts to have visions of a serial killer committing his horrendous crimes. His father informs the police who are sceptical at first, until Marcus reveals some information that has not been released. Detective Chief Inspector Aaron Conrad fears for the boy’s sanity through witnessing, albeit through visions, such horrific murders.
The killer starts to see the apparition of the boy. It becomes a race to find the killer before he finds Marcus. Will Marcus be able to give the police enough description to identify the killer, before he discovers who he is?
C.J. Pendergest was born in Salford, Manchester in 1935. He joined the Army at the age of 17 and attained the rank of Corporal. Ha had jobs in long distance lorry driving and hotel management, He retired after 10 years service from a well known security firm. He started writing in his retirement, to fulfil a lifelong ambition. Marcus is his second novel.
